Clawlolo is Heading to the Land of the Rising Sun!

We are thrilled to announce that Clawlolo has started to discover East! The 18th Sapporo International Short Film Festival & Market will feature the "Gramophone" episode in the Family & Children program in Tokyo from October 11th to 14th, 2024.
This festival, one of Japan's largest and most esteemed showcases of short-form cinema, draws around 3,000 entries annually across various genres. Being chosen from a pool of 2,083 submissions, including many Japanese series, is a significant honor for Rymanco. This selection offers a remarkable opportunity to present our creative work to a broad audience, particularly as the festival will be held in a hybrid format, featuring both offline and online screenings throughout Japan.
Clawlolo is a delightful, non-dialogue 2D children’s musical series (26 episodes, each 3 minutes long) directed by Alexey Alexeev. The show vibrantly captures the lively spirit of underwater life, featuring Eric the Crab and his aquatic friends.
In the "Gramophone" episode, Joe the Octopus discovers a vinyl record and eagerly winds up the gramophone, refusing to let the other sea creatures join in the fun. However, when the record breaks, Eric the Crab and his friends improvise by finding instruments and performing the melody live, showcasing their creativity and teamwork.
“Tolerance and friendship are what the world needs most right now”, - comment on Clawlolo the programming team of the Sapporo International Short Film Festival & Market.
