Cafe Automatica - a small family café on the brink of the universe run by a human boy and an alien girl with support of a quirky crew of retro robots. Their daily routine is pure chaos, caused not so much by the unimaginable eccentric visitors from all over the galaxy , but by the teenagers ' wildly clashing personalities.
While rational thinker Ian and his emotional alien peer Agatha are trying to restore the café and shed light to a mystery of Ian's parents disappearance, they have to confront cunning machinations of the head of a monopoly energy corporation Mrs. Greys Goodhard who is trying to get her fingers... or, more likely, slimy tentacles on the Ion's green power source.
This comedy adventure series is about growing up, the difficulty of accepting the unusual in others and understanding the value of being yourself.
